When you become a member of CrossFit Crosscheck we want to make absolutely sure that you are able to workout in a completely safe environment while gaining knowledge at the same time.  This is why we require all new CrossFit Athletes to complete 2-3, 45-60 minute semi-private/private Foundations of CrossFit classes.

With CrossFit, we use many different types of equipment and exercises to give you the best workout possible. The movements are meant for your body to learn how to move naturally, but they do take some practice!

Our Beginner Sessions consist of:

Session 1: We cover the 9 foundational CrossFit movements thoroughly. Then we do an introductory WOD (workout of the day), to get the feeling of a good sweat!
Session 2: We practice foundational CrossFit movements:

3 Different Types of  Barbell Squats
3 Different Types of Presses
Clean and Jerk


Alternative CrossFit Exercises

Q&A Time

When you complete our Foundations Class Program, you can expect to have a greater understanding about CrossFit and not only what type of exercises and movements we use, but also why we do them. This program will give you the head start that you will need to jump right into the groove of our classes.

Our Foundations Program can be completed upon a schedule time that works for you!, we will usually try and group a few people together, so you are not alone.  New CrossFit Athletes are required to complete the Foundations program prior to attending regular class. Unless they can prove a significant understanding of the program and have practiced CrossFit at another affiliate.
